How we handle résumés

One document at the first step

GO ELMS asks for one résumé, in PDF or DOCX format, so its authorized screening team can conduct an initial manual review and prepare qualified candidate profiles. The file-size limit is 10 MB.

Do not upload sensitive documents

Do not upload or email a passport, diploma, criminal background check, apostille, health record, banking information, password, or other identity document during initial screening.

Private review

The résumé is reviewed only for the GO ELMS screening process. It is not stored in the public website folder and is not automatically forwarded to a recruiter, school, or other organization.

Separate permission before a handoff

If the opportunity appears to fit, GO ELMS will contact the candidate and ask for separate permission before sending the résumé or personal information to the recruiting partner. The candidate may decline.

Deletion

If a candidate does not move forward, GO ELMS deletes the résumé within 90 days after the review decision. For an active or introduced candidate, GO ELMS may retain the résumé while the opportunity remains active and for up to 12 months after the last activity, unless a longer period is required for an applicable business or legal record. Earlier deletion can be requested at privacy@go-elms.com. Tally states that deleted data can remain in its trash or backups for up to 90 additional days unless permanently removed sooner.

Submitting a résumé does not guarantee eligibility, an interview, an offer, a visa, a particular location, or placement.
